South Pacific: New Zealand

On the opposite side of the globe is an island nation full of nature’s magic. It is the land of the Lord of The Rings. The place where extreme sports arguably began. A nation composed of intentionally peace, nature, and justice loving people; and also composed of the folks that invented the bungie jump and a high speed boat that can zip up rivers at 30+ mph in 6″ water. To-date, it is officially one of my favorite places on earth that I’ve had to privilege to visit; a place where I was hiking up a tropical river and staring at a glacier high up in the mountains within 6hrs of each moment. Go if you can.
